This Valve is a Universal PV2 Combination-Proportioning Valve, Disc/Drum brakes, Brass. Functions well when using disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Replacement part number: PV2 172-1353(Disc-Drum). Please check your replace part number to determine if this part is compatible with your vehicle.
	
This proportioning valve has standard 9/16"-18 and 1/2"-20 fittings. For use with disc brake front and drum rear applications. Two lines out for the front. One line out for the rear. Inlet sizes are 1/2 in.-20 (Front) and 7/16 in.-24 (Rear). Outlet sizes to front are 3/8 in.-24 and rear outlet is 9/16 in.-18. Please note fitting sizes for plumbing before purchasing.
	
This Combination-Proportioning Valve Compatible with OEM dual-reservoir type master cylinders. Brake line ports are 1/2'' and 7/16''. This PV-2 proportioning valve works for almost any Chevy, classic truck, or muscle car. For use with disc brake front and drum rear applications.These valves contain a low pressure shut off valve and warning light switch to ensure driver and vehicle safety should your brake system lose hydraulic line pressure.
	
As more force is applied to the brakes and the car begins to lean forward, less braking force is needed in the rear. This PV2 Brass Proportioning Valve is designed to isolate the front brakes from the rear brakes. In the event of a failure, the emergency shut off valve detects a change in pressure and closes that portion of the brakes.
