6 Cylinder, 5 Speed, Surrey Top

The Triumph TR250 was a one-year-only model produced by Triumph for the 1968 model year for the North American market. Serving as a bridge between the TR4A and the TR6, it combined the classic Michelotti-styled TR4 body with a newly designed 2.5-liter inline-six engine. The Triumph TR250 was intended to instill even more fun into the TR motoring experience.

Stunning Signal Red Finish with Chrome Wire Wheels-

This outstanding Triumph has benefited from a complete frame-off restoration to the highest standards. The TR250 was beautifully refinished in original Signal Red. The exterior of this stunning roadster is accented with a silver bonnet-stripe and all chrome is outstanding, A new set (5) of knock-off chrome wire wheels with fresh 15” Michelin radials. The Triumph is equipped with a surrey top package that includes a removable roof panel and fixed rear window. The interior has also been completely restored. Features include aftermarket high-back bucket seats (original seats are included), black leather upholstery with white piping, seat belts, custom rollbar and new carpeting. The real wood dash is in excellent and is fitted with Smiths gauges and MPH. A RetroSound AM/FM/Bluetooth sound system has also been installed.

Triumph 2.5L Six with Mazda 5-Speed Transmission Conversion-

The immaculate engine compartment is home to the Triumph 2.5L OHV in-line 6-cylinder engine equipped with twin 175 Stromberg carbs and backed by a Mazda Miata 5-speed manual transmission. The Moss Motors Mazda conversion package includes a new Miata gearbox, custom bell housing, clutch assembly and driveshaft. Cooling is managed by an aluminum radiator and custom shroud. This 2.5L engine sounds strong through a new factory exhaust. The chassis has also been refreshed and is equipped with rack and pinion steering, power front disc and rear drum brakes, new coil springs.

This stunning Triumph roadster is a highly collectible British sports car - ideal for the car show, or the rally. Because of its brief production run and melodic straight-six exhaust note, TR250 does the famous Triumph brand proud. It will not be here long!
