1987 Porsche 928 S4

The Porsche 928 is a luxury GT produced from 1978 to 1995. It combined the performance of a sports car with the comfort of a luxury sedan.

This 928 S4 is a refined version of the original 928 with upgrades that included a larger power-plant, improved suspension and sleeker body lines. The beautiful factory Grand Prix White finish on this '87 928 S4 maintains a distinctive luster and Porsche 16” chrome alloy wheels provide a perfect accent. Porsche 5.0 DOHC Power-

Horsepower is furnished by an aluminum 5.0-liter DOHC V8. This fuel-injected 32-valve engine develops 316 bhp and its 317 lb/ft of torque is transferred to a 4-speed automatic rear transaxle. This design provides a nearly 50/50 front/rear weight distribution for the 928 S4. The performance chassis is equipped with power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and 4-corner coil spring suspension. The 928 S4 also incorporates the 'Weissach Axle' design, a simple rear-wheel steering system that provides passive rear-wheel steering to increase stability while braking or cornering hard..
