Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1967 Pontiac Firebird Coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Pontiac styling chief Jack Humbert (above left, with Chuck Jordan, then executive manager of Chevy/Pontiac styling) had the job of crafting a Pontiac visual identity for the Camaro clone. At 188.8 inches, the Firebird was four inches longer than the Camaro, mainly in the combined grille/bumper up front, which previewed the look of the '68 Tempest/GTO and full-sized cars. Despite the extremely short production schedule, Pontiac sold 82,560 Firebirds in the 1967 model year.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in red (258Z) along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. Penske aftermarket gauges are mounted below the dash, showing amps, oil, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 1,422 miles; actual mileage is unknown.

The Pontiac left the factory in Regimental Red (R) and has been repainted sometime during its life. Exterior details include quad round headlights, chrome trim, and a door mounted driver-side mirror. The 14″ steel wheels feature Deluxe wheel covers and are mounted with Big O SXP Super Sport 245/60/14 tires. Stopping power is provided by front and rear drums.

The 230ci 3.8L inline-six was factory rated at 165 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed three-on-a-tree manual transmission. The Pontiac has a 10-bolt rear end a-arm with coil and shock for front suspension and leaf spring with shock on rear suspension (rear passenger side has trailing arm).

The Firebird will be sold on a clean Arizona title with original owner's manual, warranty book, protecto plate and original purchase agreement. Call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.
