【Replacement】Vacuum actuator relay used on all 1968-1982 headlights and 1968-1972 wiper systems. This relay mounts between the headlight assemblies or on the cowl/RH fender for the wiper vacuum system. Controls vacuum going to actuator canister to raise & lower headlight doors or wiper door assembly.
	
【Note】1968 Corvettes need 1 for the Wiper Door and 1 for Headlights. 1968 - 1972 Corvettes need 1 for the Wiper Door and 2 for Headlights. 1973 - 1982 Corvettes need 2 for the Headlights.
	
【Function】Replace those leaking old actuators and make your headlights work again.The Headlight Actuator Relay installs in between the headlight assemblies and controls the vacuum circuits to extend or retract the headlight actuator to open or close the headlights.

Corvette 1968-1982 Headlight and Wiper Door Vacuum Relay Valve Installation Instructions


	
STEP 1. Find the location for the headlight relay under the hood between the headlights. The wiper door vacuum relay location is under the rear right-hand fender well or the left side of the firewall.
	
STEP 2. Mark the placement of the hoses so they can be re-connected later. The original hoses had striping to match the color coded dots on the original relay. The replacement valve is initialed and color-coded for ease of hose re-installation.
	
STEP 3. Unbolt the old relay and replace it with the new one. Re-connect the hoses in their proper positions. An extra filter has been provided as a spare. These filters can also be cleaned by using soap and water only.
