This 1932 Ford Roadster is the product of Bobby Alloway at Alloway's Hot Rod Shop. Built as the official 25th Anniversary giveaway car for the 2007 Shades of the Past event in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, this car combines traditional styling with carefully selected components.

The body is a Rat's Glass fiberglass shell finished in a glossy silver that highlights the car's classic lines. A Rootlieb hood and Duval-style windshield keep things true to the era, while the electric trunk lid adds some hidden convenience. Underneath, a Painless wiring harness keeps everything clean and reliable.

Power comes from a Vortec 350 cubic inch V8, topped with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and breathing through a set of Sanderson headers. The engine bay is dressed with polished components throughout, including the intake manifold, valve covers, and air cleaner lid. An MSD ignition system and Walker radiator with electric fans round out the setup. Exhaust flows through dual pipes with glasspack-style mufflers for a traditional sound with a bit of bite.

That small block power is channeled through a TCI-built TH350 3-speed automatic transmission to a quick-change rear end with limited-slip and 3.23 gears. Suspension consists of Aldan coilover shocks on all four corners, with an independent rear suspension setup for improved ride quality and performance. Stopping power comes from disc brakes all around.

The car rolls on a staggered set of Boyd Coddington wheels, 17 inches up front and 20 inches out back, wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires, giving it a confident stance without going overboard.

Inside, the red leather interior was crafted by award-winning trimmer Steve Holcomb. It's clean and purposeful, featuring Bobby Alloway gauges, a LeCarra steering wheel, and a Lokar shifter. The layout is uncluttered, letting the craftsmanship and materials do the talking.

Overall, this '32 Roadster is a thoughtfully built hot rod that brings together quality components, skilled craftsmanship, and timeless styling. It's a great example of what happens when a seasoned builder aims for something that just works—nothing wild, just done right.
