Classic Car Addict is proud to present this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. This Chevelle has been modified with a custom 383 stroker with a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual transmission. There was no expense spared on this custom build. This was a full frame-off rotisserie restoration. The sale will include one binder with before, during and after restoration photos, owner's manual, original warranty, and many receipts.
The interior was completely gutted and has a donor 1971 Chevelle bench seat, donor floor console with new carpet, headliner, door panels, kick panels, arm rests, seat belts and chrome inner handles. In 2023, the consignor added new TMI black leather front racing seats. The dash is a classic reproduction Chevelle SS dash with dash pad, glove box, stainless steel accents and oval air vents with new Vintage AC. Upgraded AutoMeter pro-comp black face gauges for tach, 120 MPH speedometer, oil, water temp, fuel and volts (all working). It has an aftermarket GM tilt steering column with a brushed aluminum and Rosewood steering wheel. It features a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/AUX deck with (5x) internal speakers, and a 10” sub speaker and amp. Also has embroidered Chevelle floormats.
From factory, the Chevelle was finished in Bright Blue Metallic (7171) and was repainted in 2009 to a custom Cadillac CTS paint, Black Cherry Metallic. She wears three coats of paint and three coats of clear that was wet sanded, and power polished. The paint is literally a glass finish. In 2023, the consignor had XPEL clear coat added to the hood, trunk lid, and lower body sections. The body is all metal, no rust at all. She is laser straight with precision fit panels. The trunk has the original rear wheel tubs with a new trunk lid and full trunk floor pan. All chrome was replaced in 2009 which includes front and rear bumpers, grill, wheel opening trim, window trim, mirrors, SS emblems, SS rear tail panel, market light bezels, hood louvers and exterior door handles. New glass was also installed in 2009.
The engine let's get started! In 2018, consignor had a custom-built GM 383 CID stroker V8 with a comp roller cam, Eagle Crank Edelbrock aluminum heads and aluminum intake with MSD EFI Atomic TBI carburetor. She wears GM black valve covers and a K&N air cleaner with a polished Billet pulley system. The 383 is powered by a Tremec TKO-500 five-speed manual transmission and bell housing, Tremec shifter center force clutch and a Hydraulic Clutch Slave reservoir (located on the firewall) with a new stock clutch floor pedal. For cooling, we have a Griffin aluminum radiator with twin electric high flow fans. Aluminum overflow, aluminum water pump, and a polished March AC compressor. She has Vintage AC/heat compressor with inner controls, Billet AC bulkhead and new in 2023 was rubber rad hoses. MSD HEI distributor, MSD atomic ECU, MSD red plug wires, and a new battery with a custom installed Painless 12-volt wiring harness and fuse box.
Wilwood 6 piston disc brakes with drilled rotors and calipers on the front with Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes with drilled rotors and calipers on the rear. With the addition of a Wilwood Billet firewall master cylinder and portioning valve with a chrome brake booster and stainless-steel metal brake lines.
The suspension has QA1 level three upper and lower tubular A-arms with QA1 adjustable coil over shocks, sway bar and dropped spindles on the front. The rear features QA1 trailing arm suspension with QA1 adjustable coil over shocks and sway bar. It has a donor GM 12-bolt rear axle (rebuilt) with new 3:73 Eaton Posi gears with high performance axles and a custom drive shaft. The Trick Flow Aluminum differential cover was painted black.
This Chevelle is a whole 'nother level. You must see it, feel it, and hear it to know what we mean. There was a TON of money invested into this car, and it turned out incredible. It's fully functional and looks like a 12 out of 10. Call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.
